A specific support plan for customers in Ile-de-France

HAROPA – Ports de Paris supports its client companies which are being particularly impacted, especially those in the tourism-leisure sector, which has been at a standstill since the beginning of lockdown. The arrangements include three types of measures, adapted to different situations.

HAROPA took action from the beginning of the crisis by deciding very quickly to postpone the payment of state fees from the second quarter to July 10, 2020 for all its customers on the Seine axis.

This first decision allowed HAROPA – Ports de Paris to take time for discussions with its corporate clients and the public authorities in order to take stock of the situation and identify the most appropriate measures.

Approved by its Board of Directors in an exceptional session on May, 20, HAROPA – Ports de Paris' support plan for its customers represents a total rate discount of 7.3 million euros and a cash facility of 30 million euros in 2020:

> Contractual measures: Government land tenures that reach their term during the state of emergency are extended by amendment, incorporating the time required for competitive purposes.

> Cash facility measures, in addition to the maturity deferral already in place for second quarter 2020 fees:

        ♦ new payment facilities for fees in Q3 and Q4 2020 (delay of maturity date for payment at the end of each quarter; and possible monthly payments);

        ♦ for tourism and leisure customers, delay to the first quarter of 2021 of 2020 revenue fees (calculated on the basis of 2019 revenue).

> Tariff measures:

        ♦ for tourism and leisure customers, exceptional discounts on fees for the last three quarters of 2020. For the second quarter by a 90% discount of the fee except for very small, small and medium-sized enterprises for which the rebate is increased to 100% of the fixed term of the fee;
        ♦ for the 3rd quarter 2020, by a 50% discount on the fixed term of the fee;
        ♦ for the 4th quarter 2020, by a 30% discount on the fixed term of the fee.
       ♦ for industrial clients, the effect of annual fee indexation is removed, i.e. a 2.9% decrease in the annual fixed fee amount for 2020.
        ♦ for cruise passengers and stopover users, reimbursement of invoicing for all unused stopovers.

This support plan represents a significant investment by HAROPA - Ports de Paris to help revive the activity of Île-de-France customers.
